First time visiting this place when I was going down the beach on a sunny day. This is the freshest calamari I had so far. It was cooked to perfection and the service was impeccable, giving suggestions on servings and offering sauces to pair up with your desired food of choice. Regardless of being in a place where the expectations are that everything is quite expensive, I felt we paid a fair amount for the generous serving we got. I’m so delighted and happy to find such a hidden gem.

Easily one of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. The crunch was so good and the chips were seasoned generously with chicken salt. Lemons and sauce were provided complimentary. Definitely will come back.

Fish Tank takes its name because all of their seafood is sourced locally and kept fresh. It is delivered daily to Fish Tank to ensure that freshness is guaranteed. Fish is cut on site continuously throughout the day so that portions look and taste great. They also clean whole fish ready for you to BBQ or cook at home. Fish Tank also offers you a wide range of salads alongside chips to complement your meal. The place is clean and doesn’t smell at all. The fish is fresh, good quality and well-priced.

An impromptu day-trip to Brighton Beach ended up with the best fish & chips we've ever had. We purchased the Fisherman's Delight - such superb value. The freshness of the fish & fried scallops (with the roe inside) was exquisite. A beautiful day made that much better. Quality such as this is why Melbourne is one of the most likeable cities in the world 🙂

OMG! I love the atmosphere here, everyone is so welcoming when you walk in, they are so helpful when deciding what to pick and you can also trust them if you are missing cutlery or need anything. Fish Tank’s chips are so golden brown and crispy and the fish is amazing. Don’t walk, but run here now!

I only ever buy my fresh fish and seafood from The Fish Tank and the quality range of fish and quality are always on point. Without fail, every Friday night our family have the burger and chips - the BEST in town by a long way! Great work Fish Tank!
